How's it back in london town

There is definitely something about London that makes people just look so much better than anywhere else. I always return home resenting the fact that I don't live there but nevertheless the thought of using the tube everyday is enough to keep my feet firmly in Birmingham soil.

My best friend Lucy agreed to letting me drag her around some art galleries, but we also took a trip into Camden because we had had enough of arty fartiness and wanted to see what Camden Town was like.

Started off our journey with a free personalised Starbucks Latte. Accidently threw the cup away though.

First stop was Tate Modern

I'm Aliiiice and I'm an aaaart student

The two photographs above were taken in Room 12 and it was called 'I'm Here, but Nothing'. Kusama created this to convey her hallucinatory visions. It reminded me of what you would imagine a 1970's club room to look like.

You can't take pictures in the Yayoi Kusama exhibition which is extremely annoying but I managed to get these sneaky shots. Kusama's work was eccentric and weird yet wonderful.

Next we went to The Barbican to see Song Dong's 'Waste Not' exhibition. As cliché as this sounds, you have to see it to believe it.

All in all a lovely day in lovely London.

(Disposable pictures coming soon)
